Overview
CruiseFlow is designed with your privacy as a priority. Your data stays on your device, and we do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information.
Data Storage
All data you create in CruiseFlow is stored locally on your device using an on-device database. This includes:
- Cruise itineraries and schedules
- Family member profiles
- Photos and journal entries
- Daily bulletin scans
- Duck Hunt finds
- App preferences and settings
None of this data is transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.
Data Collection
CruiseFlow does not collect any personal data. We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or any form of user tracking. There are no user accounts, no sign-ups, and no server-side data processing.
Camera and Photo Library
CruiseFlow may request access to your device's camera and photo library to allow you to:
- Take photos for your cruise journal entries
- Import existing photos from your library
- Save or share images from the app
Photos you add to CruiseFlow are stored locally within the app's database on your device. They are never uploaded to any external service.
Network Usage
CruiseFlow is designed to work entirely offline. The app does not make network requests, connect to remote servers, or transmit any data over the internet. This makes it ideal for use at sea where internet access may be limited or unavailable.
Backups
CruiseFlow provides a manual backup and restore feature. When you export a backup, a JSON file is saved to your device. This file contains your cruise data and is entirely under your control. We do not have access to your backup files.
Third-Party Services
CruiseFlow does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-processing services.
Children's Privacy
CruiseFlow does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Family member profiles (names and emoji avatars) are stored only on the device and are never shared externally.
Data Deletion
You are in full control of your data at all times. You can:
- Delete individual cruises and their associated data from Settings
- Remove family members from Settings
- Use "Reset All Data" to permanently erase everything
- Uninstall the app, which removes all app data from your device
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Since CruiseFlow does not collect contact information, we encourage you to review this page periodically.
